Gîte du Roc

Close to the beautiful medieval town of Figeac, the Gîte du Roc is well placed to easily discover the wonders of the Lot.

You have full and exclusive use of the accommodation, the terrace and the jacuzzi , in a quiet area, in the village but away from the road and with an astonishing view of the surrounding rolling countryside.
You can admire the superb view of the countryside from the terrace or from inside the private jacuzzi and enjoy a very beautiful starry sky without light pollution (black triangle of Quercy).

Ideal holiday location for a stay with family or friends , you can simply relax or enjoy the many riches and activities of the region ! The cottage is located in the Causses Regional Park of Quercy : walks and hikes, cycle or mountain bike tourism, geotourism, canoeing, caving, climbing, fishing, horse riding, etc.

Within a radius of 30 km around the cottage, the Lot invites you to discover Figeac (the old town, the Museum of Writings), Cajarc , the Pech Merle cave or those of Lacave , Presque , Rocamadour , the Padirac chasm, or the numerous remarkable villages in the region, such as: Carennac, Autoire, Loubressac or Saint-Cirq-Lapopie , the Lot valley, that of the Dordogne or even the Célé valley and its fascinating history.

There are also many gastronomic specialties from Lot to discover: the famous goat cheeses (cabécous or rocamadours AOC), pompe à l'huile and pastis (both are pastries), truffles, Quercy lamb, saffron grown on the Causse, lavender, walnuts and all their variations, foie gras.

The house is an old barn of approximately 80m2 on two floors, fitted out to comfortably accommodate 4 people. From the terrace of the gîte, you have access on one level to a large room of approximately 42m2 in which you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a living room with television and wood stove.

On the first floor, a bedroom with two 90x190 beds that can be pushed together, a bathroom with a large walk-in shower, double sink and toilet, and a large bedroom with a 160x200 bed. It should be noted that this room does not have a door, but is closed by an opaque curtain.

The bedding is new, as well as the dishes and small household appliances, the cottage was equipped in 2023. Sheets are provided and the beds will be made on your arrival.

In order to maintain an attractive rate, we do not charge for final cleaning automatically and count on your cooperation to leave the house as clean as when you arrived. However, if you do not wish to take care of it, the cleaning package can be taken on site. We thank you in advance for respecting this mode of operation.
